[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Macro shot of a flower. I don't know its name. It will be very useful if someone can help with that.

Nice shot. I like the vibrant colours. But I think it would have been much better to take the camera closer to remove the distracting background. Also usually overcast days, which cause soft shadows instead of the hard ones as seen here, are considered to be more fruitful for flower photography. And soft light of the rising / seting sun may result in beautiful shots too.

Nice clarity. Keep it up.

Cheers,
Atanu

Hope it is not a cultivated flower, Gorky.
Why does it look like a rose to me?
Even the OOF leaves look like those of a rose plant.
I have seen wild rose bushes in the Himalayas the flowers on which are in single petal layers and are generally while or pale colour with strong fragrance.
This flower does bear slight resemblance to them.
Anyway, my point was to remind you that cultivated flowers are not permitted on TN. This is a friendly reminder, of course.
The picture is well composed and pleasing to look at.
All the best.
Ram
