[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The most colorful bird Common Kingfisher. But I donot find it Common anymore.Its the white throated kingfisher I find perching everywhere. This picture is taken Mathura.
But Kingfisher is the State Bird of West Bengal. One can find various types of Kingfisher at Sundarban,WB

You are right; White-throated Kingfisher is seen more frequently than this Common one.
Good capture from a distance. I wish you had zoomed in closer to get a bigger image of the bird. As it is, we see too much of the tree here.
