|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I bought my new lens (Canon 70-300 IS) today. So my much awaited entry to Birding takes off now. Lapwings are the most commonly found species in my surrounding, so thought of capturing some of them initially.|
The Red-wattled Lapwing (Vanellus indicus) is a wader usually found near water bodies in small groups. These birds are about 30-40 cm tall with distinct fleshy red wattles in front of the eyes. They are found across India

This is the lens that I started photographing birds and the rest of the nature. It is not great for birds as 300mm is a bit short but nice to have a zoom lens with a good sharpness and macro capability. I wish you can keep getting good shots like this.
Agréable publication valorisant relativement bien le sujet dans son environnement.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
perfect portrait, TFS Ori
