[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm in New Delhi these days on a week long vacation. My camera needed cleaning pretty badly with all those dark spots appearing on my pictures for more than two years. Finally, I was able to get it done by a professional.
It is terribly hot here in Delhi. There is no sign of rain even though the humidity is quite high. There is hardly any wild life in view. I went around the garden of my my son's residential complex this morning and found nothing to test shoot with my camera except for a tiny dragonfly that goes by the name of Long-legged Marsh Glider.

Scientific Name: Trithemis pallidinervis
Sub-Order: ANISOPTERA
Super-Family: LIBELLULOIDEA
Family: LIBELLULIDAE

Identification:

This is a yellowish brown, medium sized dragonfly with noticeably long legs. The thorax has three black stripes on each side and the underside of the abdomen is black.

Trithemis pallidinervis is found in China, Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan.

Hello Ram,
This long-legged dragonfly was your luck for the day and a good compensation for hot New Dehli! Perfect shot with amazing sharpness and most beautiful light. Fine colors too. Cleaning the camera is always like having a new camera, at least is this my feeling. I bring it once or twice a year to have a good cleaning.

Lovely Image Ram. I suggest you should use your 105mm more :-) The colors and DOF is amazing. Indian monsoon is affected by el-nino... temperatures are going to be high this year :-(
