Hello Manaswi, and "Happy New Year" to you.
You managed to capture these mating beetles quite well with your wide f/2.8 aperture. I do however believe with such intense magnification a tighter aperture would have shown more pronounced detail. Still a nice shot, but I would love to see this same image backed off a bit which would give it more clarity.
love their unique markings and beautiful contrasting colors. I can't think of any beetles here in the states that resemble these guys, except for maybe our Potato Beetles.
Yes you are right...unfortunately it is time to go back to work:)
