Thanks for sharing this image... I have never seen Chitals before. Very impressive and beautiful deer. I would love to see a closeup of one sometime... :)

A fine capture of a flock of Chitals having a rest, the whole scene breathing tranquility between tiger or leopard attacks.
The mynah on the back of the standing doe is a small bonus!
Thanks and all the best,

Bonito juego de formas y colores Goldy, aunque parece haber algo borroso en el ambiente. Bonita captura.
Buen fin de semana: Josep Ignasi.

These Spotted Deer at rest are wonderful. Their colors are so similar to those of the trees that they are camouflaged pretty well. The antlers are amazing - in fact that's just about all you can see of one animal! Love the little bird on the only standing one. Another very beautiful scene.

The subject is well framed. the point of view is showing the details and colors of the chitals. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Happily you didn't delete this one. Amazing sight of these resting Chitals, almost disappearing in the vegetation. Looks like a little paradise for them! Beautiful fine colors and an ideal horizontal framing.
I wish you a nice day

Beautiful shot inducing nostalgia for JCNP's. It is partly over staurated for tones of colors but over all a great composition with spotted deer.
I have liked what you have mentioned to Nazir, " Agar aapko yahaan TN pe seekhna hai, to aapko lagaataar durson ko critique karte rehna hoga taaki aapko bhi log critique karen aur ye silsila jaari rahe. agar aap critique nahin karenge, to aapko log bhool jaenge." I hope it is also applicable to me too. ;) I have just returned after a short vacation from NE India (Tawang & Shillong) & now leaving for Goa on duty for 2 weeks tomorrow. Hope to see you soon with few more photographs from that end.
