|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
Commonly found in the Himalayan foothills, it is perhaps the largest of the Kingfisher's (41cm). I found him wagging it's tail quite often, but it was too difficult to get it's pictures as it kept moving and was too difficult to take picture against sun. Finally I was able to get one.... need a better lens next time.
