I can't believe this picture is 3 years old now. While browsing my archives, I found this one and thought I had not shared it before here. I liked that green colour of this insect, which is a Katydid. I know not which exactly is this. I have not edited this picture. I thought of cropping it a bit more, but then I'd be losing its long antennae that are placed between its two closely placed eyes on the front. The young of these are not attractive without the wings. |

LOL love this! "well hello there, pleased to meet you" is what i see this Katydid saying. So thankful you shared this lil guy..who is probably dead now :(

Quite agree with Mr Samiran Nandy; that gate in the BG and a finger nail visible within the frame take the attention off the subject which has, otherwise, been captured rather well.
