|I was out hunting for some birds to photograph in my native place Kerala in India when I saw this humble and beautiful water hyacinth glistening in the early evening sun. |
shot with my telephoto lens (SAL70300G) and yes PPd in LR4 as I shoot RAW. I wished I had a true macro lens that day.

Very beautiful photo of this Water Hyacinth in splendid warm light and colours. Taken from a perfect POV in excellent sharpness and details. Very good composition.
A very well captured image of our very common flower.
This flower is also the symbol of rural Bengal. We call it Kachuripana.
The colour and sharpness is superb.

Hermosa composición con estos bellos jacintos de agua. Excelente enfoque que capta cada detalle de los pétalos y capullos, con las hojas de la planta integrando el esfumado backgroudn.

Well framed with good sharpness. I thgought that you used the flash, but exif data says no.
