|Crow Pheasant (Centropus Sinensis)|
Crow Pheasant or Coucal is a clumsy, glossy black bird with brown wings. The call of this bird is a deep resonant coop-coop-coop in a series. It stays in open forests, grasslands and villages. It eats insects, caterpillars, snails and lizards. Both sexes are alike.

A very nice capture of this crow pheasant. Very well composed with good details and a nice POV. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Just marking this wonderful post for the moment, lest I miss it, and will come back with a proper critique later.

I missed this one!
Fine capture of a Crow Pheasant in the foliage. Nice and sharp ans set in afine composition. This is a species that I have wanted to photograph when I was in Goa, but the opportunity never came.
Well done and best wishes for 2008!
