Lime Butterfly

Scientific Name : Papilio demoleus

Wingspan : 80 to 100 mm

Lime Butterfly is a medium sized swallowtail butterfly. The wings are spotted with various shades of yellows. On the underside, it has beautiful patterns of yellow, red and blue. The abdomen is lemon yellow with longitudinal black lines. The male and female is similar. The particularity is the species lacks the characteristic tails of swallowtail.

Very good macro, nice colors and details!

Hello Arun,I think you were well settled with your dark back grounds, as you see here the back ground is taking away all the attraction..wish you could get the back ground out of focus, may be now that you have explored well shooting macro subjects you should go for DSLR with Macro lens.
