[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this Nilgiri Langur (Trachypithecus johnii) in Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, India. This Old World Monkey found in parts of Southern India has been declared as vulnerable by IUCN. Deforestation and poaching are considered to be the reasons for the vulnerability. One of the Foresters in the Reserve said that feeding of the monkeys by the tourists is creating a chain of reactions in the food-web affecting the monkeys in long-term. I could see that this monkey sitting in a tall tree was expecting me to feed it with snacks.

Hello Bala, and welcome to TN.
I see you use the same lens that I do, it works out well for my bird images.
Not a bad first post considering your subject didn't seem to want to be photographed and stayed partially hidden behind the two trees. This is a creature not often seen here on TN, so I congratulate you on presenting us with your photo.
