|Drifting in a canoe or putting in a ferry, down the backwaters is always beautiful. Rivers and lakes connect to the ocean in a series of endless waterways. People travel by boat. The soil is fertile. The air is hot and humid, except in the forest, where it is cool. Fish and other sea life abound.|

Nice view of Kerala backwaters. The picture gives the effect of calm before the storm. I see that the picture was taken in 2003; do you remember where in Kerala was this scene? It could be almost anywhere as I know.
A fine atmosphere has been captured!
I can almost feel like being there, in the hot humid air...
A well framed scenery, foine colours and good details!
A lovely landscape you have captured. And it is the beauty why Kerala is famous for. Nicely composed with very good colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.
An area that just looks so remote and undisturbed. I am sure there is so much wildlife to view and scenes to soak in. Great scenery!
