Stream Ruby - Rhinocypha bisignata
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Photo taken from Kottayam, Kerala|
Stream Ruby is a common damselfly found near streams of Peninsular India. The reddish patches on the wings help to distinguish them. This one is a male. Female looks almost similar to male but does not have the orange color on thorax.

It is a good macro with details on head and thorax but not so good on abdomen. It is a lit bit dull. It may moves it when you shooted it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Abhinav, you lost the detail on the left part but because the diagonal perspective, the sharpness on face and body is perfect, and it's possible to watch the design and colors in the best way, very rare specie,i like it! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
