|Friends, Am back. This is shot in cochin Thattkkad forest. I would ilke this to be dedicated to one friend, who helped me in getting lenses from Canon and also got me back into this activity. This is my new Camera Canon 550D. With my savings got my 10-22 lens also. hope to share some nice shot later.|
This is Indian Brahminy Kite.
Order: Falconiformes (or Accipitriformes, q.v.)
Species: H. indus
The Brahminy Kite (Haliastur indus), also known as the Red-backed Sea-eagle, is a medium-sized bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards and harriers. They are found primarily in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and Australia
I went to Kerala to attend my friends marriage and with what ever the time left made a point to visit this place. But looks like the birds are having summer holidays. Not even one to be seen except this eagle waiting for me to extend greeting.
Thanks for watching more soon.
