[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Strolling along a Goa beach, we saw this colony of Goose barnacles on a bubble-wrap. The very active tiny crustaceans kept coming out and going in their shells. Later, a friend helped in identifying them as Lepas antifera.
Considered to be a delicacy, they are commercially grown in some parts of the world.
Filter-feeder by nature, they depend on water motion for feeding, which describes us finding them on this moderately exposed coast. |

Hello Richa,
Magnificent photography, very good focus and very clear. I see a mismatch with the composition, for such pictures is valid with the rule of thirds. But nothing that seriously affects the outcome!
Regards & TFS!
