It a very simple but very nice composition with the moon over the sea. There a nice soft quality about it. I know it not as sharp but it fit the atmosphere, so that work well here. Color are nice and natural. Very moody and romantic image.

I haven't been to any of those beaches you've named, Golgy, but they must all be good. I guess it depends on the tourist industry and marketing as to which ones are advertised for tourists.
It is a lovely image and it looks like the moon above, so I can understand the noise in the sky. It is well composed, but the problem I see is the uneven horizon. . . and that is NEVER crooked.
I have done you a workshop, and I hope you like it.

Hi Goldy, maybe a little soft, but I like the tall portrait format you've selected for this shot, with the waves and clouds seen down at the bottom and the moon high above. The monochromatic blue look throughout is kind of interesting too.

It is a good blue:-) I have read the history of my generation (*old hippies) in Goa...and I also understand that there are still quite a few there yet from the US an other places...part of the old Rainbow Family...hard to believe they survived all drugs considered:-)) Great photo and a good opportunity for me to query!

Hi Goldy,

In spite of your opinion of Goa, this would make a lovely travel poster. I hadn't been to any beach in India, too much to see to spend time on a beach! A beautiful study in blue with the moon high up in the sky over the water. I love the vertical composition.

Nice bit of artistry here, showing a Goan beach at night. The soft focusing is quite effective.
I agree that for the sun-seeker Goan beaches may not be the best that India has to offer, but it is a great place for birdwatchers!

Dear Goldy, this is a stunning picture, with lots of feeling into it. I wish I could chose between Goa or Pondicherry or Vizag beaches ;-) You saw my St.Lawrence River post, it is not as inviting as this beautiful beach! I love the foam on the waves repeating almost the pattern of the clouds and the superb, tiny moon at the top of the frame. It is in balance, harmonized and so nice to look at. Thank you,

Hey Golds,
Great shot. Why I really believe this one's a great shot cause I have a similar one:) just that you took it in the evening and I took it in the early hours of the next day. Now that i can't post it, I thougjht I will post it to the workshop :)
I know we have many more similar shots from Goa ... interestingly the same POVs even though we were not really together when we took them .... Think we have similar eyes... :-D

Well said Goldy, many of the Indian beaches are far superior than Goanie (one can understand role of media)! However, I would like to add Andaman & Nicobar beaches also in the list of top 10 beaches of the world.
