[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture of a Southern Birdwing was taken in Goa about two years ago. I had been fascinated with this pretty large butterfly seen only in Southern India and had given it a frantic chase despite the fact that it never stopped fluttering its wings and never rested at one spot for more than a few seconds. That is why I have captioned it 'Frozen Movement'. Apparently, the picture looks somewhat abstract.

Thanks for looking.

Dear Ram Sir,
This is one of the best frozen movements with an excellent POV indeed for Southern Birdwing. As ever, your photographs are amazingly beautiful, very well composed & carry definite msg to all of us. After NOIDA, we except many new vistas from Jammu region now :)
Regards-Subhash

That's wonderful, Ram, this noble butterfly is sitting there very decorative and the POV creates the illusion, like the petals of the white flower are parts of its wings, that looks so interesting and beautiful. I love the warm and brilliant colours and the blurred BG.
Thanks my friend, all the best for you, take care

Hi Ram,
this view is very abstract indeed. The pattern of the butterfly and the spider lily gives a very strong composition.
Excellent presentation and I belief it is a very challenging post, as I seldom see butterfly visit this flower.
Nice waited moment.

Foozi

Hello Ram,
How lovely and special! A butterfly taking itself for a "Kunstgegenstand".
Indeed the picture looks almost like a painting. Very well seen.
I have read in the forum that you move to Northern India, close to the place you come from. Great to make this step, you surely will not regret it. I'm so happy for you.
Kind regards
Anne
