|Sexes completly differ in appearance..The male is black on d upperside with three white patches - two on the forewing nd one large spot on the hindwing..The female on d other hand is a perfect mimic of plain tiger nd can be distinguished from it's modelby a large black spot on d front margin of d hindwing as compared to 3-4 spots of d plain tiger...sci name - hypolimnus misippus.|

a fantastic capture of the female H. misippus which is often mistaken as chrysippus. Just the right and great depth of field. Exact focus and excellent sharpness. Beautiful general composition and highly appropriate background.
