[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken long time time back in Bandipur snatuary. I was returniong back after a trip into the sanctuary and came across a spotted deer . After slight disturbance from the fellow tourists, it started moving into the woods, and before disappearing, it started scratching its face, and that is when i shot this picture. It was late in the evening at 5.30 pm and I have used fuji chome provia 100asa.Scanned in Epson 4490 scanner.

Dear Satish, The lighting effect you have given to this picture is superb. great work sir. with best regards.vab.

This is one of the best picture i have seen, the lighting and composition is amazing

This is a tremendous picture. The lighting is so beautiful that it provides an excellent outline to the deer. Despite the backlighting, the grass is not over exposed and the deer's features under the shade are clear. The exposure cannot be any better. The composition is superb and the action is unique. Marvelous picture Satish.

Hello Satish,
I'd say it's a male...:-)
Beautiful capture. I like the white lining around the antlers.
Regards, Jacob

Hi Satish
This is a beautiful image love the backlighting exposure is good
I do find the dark shadow area at the top of the image a bit of a distraction,if you were to crop it off I think it would make the image pop even more.
cheers Russell

Beautiful image with lovely pose of the deer and most wonderful backlight.
Composition, exposure and sharpness are great.
You did a perfect job with scanning the Provia 100F.
Excellent work Satish. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards, Harry
