[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a foot of Prashad's Gecko - Hemidactylus Prashadii. Several other species Of Hemidactylus genus occur commenly in India. But this one is endemic to western ghats and not common. distributed in small paches. But very common in Amboli, lives in variety of habitats - rocks, under stones, buildings etc. the commonest of the the indian Hemidactylus geckos occuring throughout the subregion is Hemidactylus Brookii i.e. Brooks Gecko.

Wonderful shot! This foot looks great! It is so strange like a foot or the hand of knight in armour or even the part of an alien's body.

I haven't seen the underpart of a gecko's foot often before.
