Laddakh resembles Tibet in landscape, religion, architecture, and many other aspects, as It shares the border with Tibet. Harsh weather clogs the passes with snow and ice, most of the year. Rivers are formed high in the Himalayas of glacier ice and snow melt, traveling to become future mighty rivers of Asia.
