Synonym: Artemisia maderaspatana.
Common name: Madras Carpet.
Common Hindi names: Mustaru, Bhediachim.
Plant: 10-45cm. Aromatic annual.
Flower: 0.5-1cm across.
Distributed all over Africa, Asia-temperate, and Asia-tropical.
Commonly seen in flat bunches in harvested fields, dry river and pond beds.
Leaves are used in traditional medicine.
