Another shot of Lady Birds from Shilon Bagh (Shimla). On a trek in Shilon Bagh, the only form of life that I found in the jungle was Lady birds... all I found there were Lady Birds in groups of any number that you may come up with. Hidden in every nook and corner of trees, grass, dead logs...
Not only the forest, even in the resort that we were staying in, we had to watch our step while we were out so as to avoid stepping on one. So I think I've had enough of my share of Lady Birds, I think i will share some with you as well.

Thanks for stopping by,

Here's my earlier post of the Lady Bird with more info on them.

Hi Kirti,
good title for this 'Bug Bunker'! DOF is perfectly placed to isolate the subject and lighting is very good too, well done!

Interessante documentazione, ottimi POV e composizione, buona nitidezza, molto belli i colori con tonalità calde. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

Kirti, You seem to have noticed the lady bird hiding inside. Not an easy shot and you have shown us good view here. Ganesh

Too tired, will be back later!

Hi Bro Kirti, wonderful macro capture of these ladybugs:) in groups. In such shapes I think they show breeding behaviours these beetles. Great capture in all aspects. TFS. Cheers,

Hi Kirti, lovely trio with fantastic colors, great details and excellent sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio

Very nice cluster of the lady bugs. They are so cute always. very nice colors well saturated, good composition. May crop even closer. You don't have to enlarge but make the frame bigger. Better impact I think.

There were plenty of them here too in April, Kirti.
Then they suddenly disappeared, and so did the Hoverflies. These creatures seem to have a short cyclic life. I guess garden lizards and other reptiles also feasted on them when they were there.
You have named your picture appropriately. The image is well composed and I like the sepia tones to it.
TFS and all the best.

Hi Kirti,
Wonderful shot and a great documentary image. Apt title too and I like your POV to portray the 'bunker'. Very neat and sharp image with lovely colours and perfect lighting. Very nice composition. Kudos.

Hello Kirti. Beautiful bug captured in their hiding place. Nice lighting in good perspective. Thanks for sharing and best regards. Jusni

Hi Kirti!

Seems like it was a bit of time ago when you last posted, back than I was the one who took a break so now I checked back your gallery.
This shot is truly artistic, with the yellow tone it looks great! Very good dof including just the ladybird. Maybe the bugs are a bit too centered for me, but besides that I like the composition. TFS!

Best regards,

the focus draws out eye´s attention to the Lady Birds... beutiful composition and colours.
