Hello Satish,

Very nice in-flight shot of this fly. I think it belongs to the Bombyliidae family. It will be difficult to identify I think as it is from India. I could find a species which looks like yours on the site diptera.info, toxophora sp., but there is no other similar picture to be found on the net.
Cheers,
Mariki

Hello,
Unfortunately I can't help with the id but the shot is very nice. I especially like the pollens on the proboscis, TFS.

Hello Satish.
Fantastic picture!
How can you get this with such clarity?
Fine colors, sharpness and details.
Really a difficult register to achieve!
My compliments and TFS this marvel!

hello Satish,
A very funny picture! Just great to have caught this Syrphid-fly in this "agressive" position. A very original shot. Thanks a lot.
