These days i am not able to post regularly. I am reposting after a break of 8 days. The festive season is over and we are back to the hectic pace of life after enjoying the break.

As the resposibilities are adding on at work, my time which I used to spent in lap of nature is getting lesser and lesser and now it seems that it will become a luxury for me.

This shot has been taken at a remote place near a village at rajim area. The shot has been taken handheld with Sigma 10\20 wide angle lens on Nikon D 80.

I can be seen in the form of a shadow on the right corner .

your critiques and comments are most welcome.

It is hard for me, a landscape photographer, to judge anthers work...for one thing this is not like nay place I have seen in the US..and I've been to all the 48 states...The combination of tree, vegetation and water..is unlike anything I can think of...so I have no benchmark..nothing to say whether it is better or worse..I can say this..It is a good photograph..and if I wanted to be in a place like this...hoping it had something livable nearby...and considering teh climate..I think it might be enjoyable...a problem at times we have on TN is showing the true environment of an landscape shot...as in where are the towns and people which we cannot show...so please...tell me a bit more about this if you ever get the time...I always await your photos because they are always technically good and always bring up somethign I can question.

Thanks for the self-portrait with the picture, Pankaj :) :) :). Three cheers!!!
This is an adorable location in your state. I like the pond surrounded by so much of greenery.
The blue sky is an integral part of this pastoral composition.
Work, alas, is the ruination of our simple pleasures, but what to do? Look at me -- I was looking forward to master my time after retirement. It is the other way round still.

Hi Pankaj!

Now I know what you are looking like!

I'm kidding, in fact I'm pleased by this beautiful landscape view. It looks so peace- and restful, and the tree is so majestic. I also like how the borderline of the river leads the spectator's eye to it.

I hope that these moments of privilege will not become too rare for you.

Kind regards

Hi Pankaj,

This is very nice serene atmosphere you have in the picture, beautiful. Personally I did not like the shadow as a nature picture.looking forward for more pictures .TFS.

Hello Pankaj

I like the little signature on this one in the lower right corner.
A lovely landsacpe of a beautiful tree and pond.
A very pastoral capture with nice curves and colours.
I can imagine sitting under that beautiful tree on a hot sunny day.

Hi Pankaj.
Now I can see at least your shadow. Perfect selection of the pictured scene and POV. I like warm sunlight, rich green and blur colours of the shot and wonderful details of the whole scene. Well done and TFS.

Hello Pankaj,
Your shadow makes the picture very interesting..there is something fascinating about it..a presence which is not a real one. Very quiet landscape with beautiful red earth. Very fine picture.

Hi Pankaj,
what a lovely landscape shot.
You use that 10-20mm lens very well - I am going to hopefully buy one after Christmas (which is when I will have finally payed off my other lenses)... I can't wait to be able take some landscape shots with it :-)
Very sharp and crisp.
Nice saturated colours.
Great light.

Well done!

Brave of you to include the photographers shadow! But it works i think, and it is nice to see you! The green and blue combination here is simple but very effective...i see you are making good use of the 10-20mm!!
