[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

This is a sequel to the image of the same butterfly that I posted on TN yesterday. I saw this butterfly resting. Its wings were tightly closed. I waited for some more time with the hope that the Yellow Pansy will show the yellow colors. After some time, the Yellow Pansy responded to my wish and here is the picture.

Hello Murali,
nice to see also the wing underside pattern of that species. The fine colour elements are well reproduced.
Also the colours appear very natural. Focus and sharpness are pretty good.
Best wishes, Peter

A superb capture Murali, the soft illumination and the sharply focused Pansy against a pleasantly blurry BG make this a beautiful composition. TFS this fine image my friend.

Sorry, just run out of smileys...

Hi Murali,
Yesterday I thought the Pansy was beautiful looking at its upper side.
Now I see it is also beautiful looking at the underside.
Butterflies are amazing: They are beautiful twice over. : )
This is a wonderfully clear image, with perfect exposure and DOF.
The composition is lovely, the colors are gorgeous.
Great pose and POV, and excellent focus.
TFS. : )

A beautiful two-in-one image of this butterfly, Murali. You were in luck to get this perspective.
Both visible sides of the wings are very well captured and the contrast between the two looks very attractive.
I am also deeply impressed with your technical acumen as a nature photographer.
Thanks and regards.

Murali, This is beautiful but personally i feel that cropping is tight. Perfect sharpness. Ganesh
