Hello Goutham,
What a fantastic photo. Yes, probably it's a drama for the butterfly.
The colours in this photo are splendid against the dark green BG. Excellent sharp details, DOF and composition.

Peter

Hi Goutham.
Thanks for the story and its luck end as well as for this amazing picture rare by subject and exceptional by quality. Superb lighting and vibrant colours of a fine butterfly and so impressive spider. You also have reflected spider web brilliantly and deep dark BG is amazing too. Bravo and my kind regards.

Hi Gouthaam. It sounds like you had a good TN meet up with the others. The poor butterfly had a bad day but thats nature . It allowed you to get a very good shot of the two together. You have fine detail and bright colours. wel ldone TFS.

Hello Goutham,
Fantastic and dramatic picture! What a shot! You have been lucky to have the opportunity to catch such an interesting subject. Everything is in focus, the colors of the Pansy-butterfly so well rendered, the dramatic situation so well shown. The dark greeen background is ideal to underline the subject.
Bravo
Best regards

This is a fantastic shot-everything is so sharp and well-composed. The poor butterfly-imagine struggling next to that thing that wants to eat it! Many gold stars for this one!

Drama indeed, Goutham!
What a juxtaposition of subjects.
The bright orange of the pansy and the bright white threads of the spider web stand out splendidly against the dark green BG.
The details are super sharp throughout,
and the exposure is just perfect.
Great work, and TFS. : )

Hallo Goutham
A remarkable photo filled with a rainbow of colours and lots of detail to appreciate. A wonderful composition with exposure masterly done, not a single spot is overexposed. This is absolutely splendid. The colours in the image are complementing each other nicely. This is one of those 2 in 1 shots where everything just seems to be right. A good close-up, presented in a pleasant.
Kind regards
Anna

Hello Goutham,
a valuable nature document taken just inthe right moment. Did you continue to observe the scene and do you
have some further shots? Here, the butterfly has its wings fully opened, a good chance to get it together
with the spider and the web in one plane. Superbly sharp picture of all important 'players'.
Best wishes, Peter

Curtains for this pretty Peacock Pansy, Goutham.
It is a marvellous opportunity nature offered you and you took advantage of. I have been shooting lots of Argiope spiders lately and saw such drama only once -- a Common Jay in the process of being eaten by a large Argiope.
The image is is stunner, indeed.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Goutham
An absolutely breathtaking photograph from you!
Not only you managed to catch this great spider so nicely on his web, but it also has a nice prey, and the prey is staying there with its wings perfectly opened...how many great coincidences in one!
The details here are more than super sharp, the colors are all popping out of the frame and the use of the flash is simply perfect!
A magnificent macro in all aspects!
BRAVO and TFS

Amazing capture with perfect timing. It is a pitty for butterfly, but an important dinner for the spider...
Great details (every single element of spider's web is seen!), perfect light and very beautiful colours!
TFS this interesting picture Goutham!

Well, that is nature for you Goutham, a beautiful looking scene with perfectly balanced colours, but also a pity for the poor little butterfly which certainly is not enjoying the situation. On the other hand a superb image on predator-prey relations. TFS this fine lesson in nature my friend.
Cheers,
Mehmet

Hi,
You have caught a rare moment on the frame.. Nice saturated colours and dark BG has given the subject the needed contrast. TFS

Hi Goutham,
what an exceptional shot!
The butterfly is amazing! It's such a shame that it got trapped in the web.
The spider is amazing too :-)
Very sharp and crisp.
Great DOF.
Very, very well done,
Joe
