Photo of a flower taken early morning... It felt so fresh to see this flower with dew... One of my co-trekker tried to pluck this flower of the plant and I was screaming!!! I always feel flowers are more beautiful alive than on someone's hand ;).

While this photo was clicked the dew was reflecting sun light enormously. So the dews at the lighting side got a bit to over exposed.

Photo details:

Light: From the left top, natural sun at 9:30 AM.
Shutter Speed: 1/125
Aperture: f/7.1
Focal Length: 60mm

hello Amal

I always believe India is very diversified in terms of photography subjects and opportunity, so one fine I must land here to see it for myself.

Here you have a great close up macro of the lovely flower. Good light, focus sharpness and the enhancement to the beauty by the dew drops.

Good work. Although I would say f/7.1 makes the BG a bit distracting to me, perhaps I would say f/3.5 but that is just personal preference.

very nice, sorry can't help with the ID, TFS Ori

Hallo Amal
You made my day with this beautiful flower. I love purple and this is exquisite. The dew drops add that extra sparkle to this already special image. I am glad you shouted to the person that wanted to pick this, and I do agree flowers in their natural surrounding are much more pleasing to the eye than in a vase or flower arrangement. I just love the almost see through petals as they remind me of the glass windows in some of the churches. It is a pity I cannot help you with the ID as I would also like to know the name of it. Best regards and thanks for sharing.

Ciao Amal,
benvenuto su TN; bellissima immagine di questo fiore ricoperto di gocce, catturato con ottima definizione, eccellenti POV e composizione, bellissimi i colori e il contrasto con BG scuro.
