Another shot I took of Lonavala sitting on the wonderful green slope. The weather was extremely cloudy and it was drizzling on and off. The sunlight coming through the clouds somehow looked beautiful.

Lonavala is the most favorite monsoon picnic spot of Puneits and Mumbaikars. It is at a height of 620m above sea level. From Bombay Lonavala is 128 km by railway and 92 km by road. Government Holiday homes are about 6 km. To Reach Lonavala Trains take about 2.30 hours from Mumbai and 1 hr from Pune. Local Trains from Pune take 1 hr 30 min. to reach Lonavala.

Hi Sreya,
lovely scenic shot of misty hills. Beautiful when you add the foreground with local grasses and to add some attractions.
good composition.

Hi Sreya, Nice composition of this beautiful landscape.
I think the picture is lacking brightness, probably due to a high shutter speed in poor lighting conditions. Also the white light balance is not proper. I see a lot of light blue tinge in the picture. You could have used some alternate manual white light balance mode like 'cloudy', to inject a bit of yellow tinge to balance that blue color. Also a stronger contrast would've been better.

PS: I have done a workshop for this picture to adjust the white light, exposure and contrast. Hope you like it.

Good elements in this picture -- eye-refreshing greenery, impressive POV with a view of the plains, contrasts in green colour, good depth of view and those sunrays filtering through the clouds.
Another wonderful landscape from Lonavala, Sreya.
