Fields of Gold: for Bob Shannon
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is something like what Bob Shannon had submitted on the 03 April 2009; refer Fields of Gold . To me "Fields of Barley" means earth, and "Fields of Gold" means heaven. |
Here you see some thing unique at Panchgani Deccan Traps; from one plateau to another close to horizon. During this season all is golden golden and within days to 1-2 months all will turn lush green (during monsoon). I will show you the transition hopefully.

Going by the colour of seared grasses in the foreground, it is still autumn at this loacation in Maharashtra, Subhash.
The image is beautiful as a composition in different layers of colours.
It is a very Bob kind of picture in mood and outlook and thereby makes a befitting dedication for him.
a beautiful landscape/mountain photo with the golden
colored field, here i love your POV at the level of the field,
and the mountains are the hart of this wonderful image, TFS
