The Scarlet Skimmer or Crimson Darter (Crocothemis servilia) is a species of dragonfly of the family Libellulidae, native to east and southeast Asia and introduced to Florida and Hawaii.

I took this shot on a paddy field at Jiaganje, Murshidabad.

Nice pic.
Very good sharpness.
The fly's wings look somewhat merged into the BG, because of the transparency.
