[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is very little information available on the web on this species of butterflies. Here is a bit of it from an Indian site:

Name: Common Silverline
Scientific Name: Spindasis vulcanus (Fabricius, 1775)

The Common Silverline is found in open natural vegetation and is exclusive to the Indian Subcontinent.

Brilliant silver lines enclosed in black bordered red bands makes your first encounter with the Silverline quite unforgettable. Its reluctance to fly away also allows you to get really close to this butterfly. However, its flight is extremely swift and once it takes off, it is very difficult to follow its course.

Thanks for looking.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I knew this was yours Ram!
A fine sharp macro of a fresh female Common Silverline, her body swollen with eggs. The POV, composition and BG are ideal to present this species in a fine way against a superb neutral green BG.
Thanks and have a good week,

Hi Ram,
very nice captured, sharp and clean background.
I like your shot .regards.

Hello Ram!
This species is so colourful! The mosaic on its wings is really beautiful. I'd like to see such creature in the wild some day :)
Greetings from Lodz,

Hi Ram,
A brilliant and eye-catching butterfly. As always photographed with a masterful talent. This is a rather curious insect, which I imagine is not the purpose of the appendices in their wings, strange. The detail is fascinating insect. Thank you very much for sharing.
