[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A search on Wikipedia shows that Blue Pansy butterfly is found often sitting on bare ground, which is how I got to click it. Like some other territorial butterflies, this also maintains a territory driving away other butterflies that may enter it.

The scientific classification goes as -
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Arthropoda
Class: Insecta
Order: Lepidoptera
Family: Nymphalidae
Subfamily: Nymphalinae
Genus: Junonia
Species: J. orithya

Welcome to TN, Richa!
This is quite an impressive capture of a Blue Pansy (Junonia orithya and not 'Precis orytha' as mentioned in your title to the picture).
The image is fairly sharp with good details and colours on the wings of this prettiest one from the Pansy family.
Well done and keep shooting.
