Hello Haraprasan,
I can't help with the ID of this Dragonfly but I do know that the pose with the upright body is to minimise heat absorption from the sun by reducing the area exposed to the sun. This is something we rarely see in N. Europe as it doesn't get hot enough!
Nice sharp capture taken from a fine POV against a pleasing BG.
Thanks and all the best,

wonderfull capture!!!!! (Not sure about the ID. But why do dragonflies do this type of funny pose? ) I think it may be trying to concentrate somewhere. so to get rid from balancing it posed like that. heheheh its mt thought as i saw the pose. anyways its funny pose. and u got the grt capture. regards .

Hi Haraprasan. I think Ivans reason for the pose is right. I have seen it on very hot days in England. But not very often. I like the pose on the single stick . Which you have taken with good detail and natural colours. It stands out well from the plain green BG. well done TFS.

hello Haraprasan
great composition with good details
beautiful colours
