cool, the crab spider is nicely hidden, seems to be a part of the white blossoms, and has a really big meal.
eat or being eaten, that´s nature. well seen & captured, thor.

Fantastic view of this big and beautiful Hawkmoth being caught by a little Crab Spider! WHat a pity but these Spider are so quick and cunning. Great details in this fine composition.

Excellent action shot!
Supported by natural colors and a truly enjoyable light.
I like the composition you have given to all, has managed to convey much of the drama of the moment.
On the other hand ... I am glad to see you also have plants of lantana! ... These plants are great for attracting insects of various species!
Regards & TFS!

I'm so glad you didn't resist the temptation to post this shot. I'm always fascinated to see a small predator and his larger prey. The Spider and Fly are wonderful and show off well against the leaves and flower.
