[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi, today i am posting female sunbird. this female now a days busy with constructing the nest. i observed that on two different trees the same female is trying to nest. male contributes little while nesting. just he keeps eye on preditors like crows while female indulgs in building nest. this couple is nesting just few meters away from my gallary and bedroom window.i observed that the female works on both sites simuitaneousaly.
Dont know whether it is their everytime practice or purposely she is building two nests at a time , at this time only.
Any ways hope u wll like the post. thanks.

Hi Rajan,

The first time I saw a Sunbird rushing through the leaves of a tree I couldn't see the face and thought it was hummingbird. I was so surprised when I finally saw the whole bird. They don't seem to stay in one spot very long and you managed a fine shot. Nice colors and details of the face, eye and feathers. Our Cactus Wrens build two nests - one for their young and one for roosting.
