|This grasshopper looked pretty offended when I moved its home - the underside of a leaf. First it tried hiding and as I was turning the leaf around, it was also turning round to stay underneath. But after too much of interruption caused by me, it finally surfaced and looked like ready for a fight with the intruder.|
I will post some more photos of them, they look pretty but they are another 'devils of destruction' - comes monsoon and they emerge in thousands. They breed pretty quickly and form sort of a carpet under light sources. It's impossible to walk around in the night with around 20 flying and jumping in all probable directions and at least 3-4 crushing under your feet with every step you take!
By the time they go, they would have made all beautiful plants so ugly to look at... And by the plants shed all their ugliness and get new leaves, they are back again!! A whole army...flying and jumping...
