This looks like a Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus) - a common butterfly widespread in Asia and Africa. It belongs to the Danainae ("Milkweed butterflies") subfamily of the brush-footed butterfly family, Nymphalidae.

Greg

Hello Hemant,

wonderful capture of butterfly in flight you have almost got that perfect shot....but bit of profile of the butterfly or wing position could have been better.

Hi Hemant,
Just one word to describe this shot...WOW! Amazing point of view, just a little blur on the right wing, however, its natural to have small issues while capturing such a precious moment.

Regards,
Vinay
