Hello Arjun,
A nice portrait, but certainly not of a babbler. I think this is a White-eyed Buzzard, butastur teesa.
Good sharpness, details and natural colours. Also a good choice of composition. Nice dark blurred BG.

Arjun is certainly correct about the ID, but I immediately see the cause for confusion. This bird has a very deformed upper mandible - this species does not normally have a hooked bill.
A smaller aperture, giving more DOF, was an option here and may have given a slightly better result - the tip of the bill and back of the head are outside the DOF.
Regards, Nigel.

Hi Arjun,

Excellent portrait of jungle babbler, TFS!

Hi Arjun,

Lovely colse-up of a Jungle Babbler. It has got unusually curved beak.

Hi Arjun!
Nigel has right.. In this specific case a smaller aperture (f8, maybe..) would have given much a slightly greater DOF leading to have perfect sharpness of all the head... There are some OOF parts... Great Pov, though, good details, natural colors and excellent BG.
