The dream destination for any one visiting Ladakh.....Tso moriri.

Tso Moriri (Tso Moriri Wet land Conservation Reserve), in the Changthang area, is a High Altitude Lake with an altitude of 4,595 m (15,080 ft) in Ladakh, India and is the largest (Max Length = 19km, Max width = 3km) of the High Altitude Lakes in the Trans-Himalayan biogeographic region, entirely within India. In November 2002 Tso Moriri was notified a Ramsar Site.

I dedicate this panorama to Ram Thakur :)

Ram and his home are only hills compared to this beauty. Tell us if anyone ha climbed or even lives. Perhaps some new Buddha wisher of a lost sanyasin? SUPER image of my dreams..

Hi Subhash,

A beautiful landscape/seascape! I love the diagonal lines of the mountains and the horizontal lines of the water. I haven't seen a body of water for a long time so I really appreciate this wonderful scene.

Hi Mr. Subhash,
A lovely dedication to Mr. Ram Thakur Sir. Very well composed shot of this beautiful landscape. Very nice colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thanks for remembering me while uploading this grand view of a pristine lake in Ladakh, Dr Ranjan. I am touched.
Needless to say, this is the kind of place that invariably makes one think of divinity. It is a well framed picture with the sky, earth and water sharing the space in a synergic equation.
Best regards.

What a beautiful shot, Ranjan!
You're so lucky!
You travel to the best of places and its your job!
