The Tree

According to Germaine De Stael, “Love is the emblem of eternity: it confounds all notion of time: effaces all memory of a beginning, all fear of an end”. This quote means that love is eternal, and that when people are truly in love, they know that their love is timeless. This quote proved to be true in Katie Trinket’s story. Her story is full of love, a love that never dies.

The strong summer breeze whipped through Katie’s hair as she ran anxiously to meet Jacob. The eight year olds’ feet carried her to the usual meeting spot; edge of the forest, take a right, and keep going until you see the large tree with pink leaves. The peculiar pink-leafed tree stood tall in an odd clearing in the forest. Katie and Jacob found the tree years ago and began to call it their own. They met at their tree every day rain or shine. The pair played joyfully with each other each day, telling stories, and sharing their secrets with each other. Hello Nagesh,
This is the most beautiful silhouette that I have seen for a long time. Perhaps a lower POV would have worked even better to show more of the trunk but what fabulous delicate branches and excellent composition. And what a beautiful complementary note. A joy to view and read. Very well done indeed.

A beautiful composition and presented with taste & class.
The silhouette-ed tree is truly a masterpiece of photography work. 10/10.
Greetings from Canada from Mario.
