|Barbet in my window. |
The blue-throated barbet (Megalaima asiatica) is an Asian barbet, seen across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. Barbets and toucans are a group of near passerine birds with a world-wide tropical distribution. The barbets get their name from the bristles which fringe their heavy bills; this species eats fruits and insects.

GREAT closeup of this barbet.Excellent details of the body.
C'est dommage que l'objectif (télé ? ) déforme le sujet car la profondeur de champ est parfaite et la lumière bien maitrisée.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

The best shot yet of this beautiful bird. From this POV we get a great look at it's cute facial features and bright colors. I especially like the tiny ring of orange coloring which surrounds it's eye. We can also clearly see the large stout looking bill, which I'm sure comes in handy when foraging for food. The focus on the barbet is sharp and exposure is very good. Well done!!
