We grew some Hyacinth plants in our lotus pond on my school campus last year. It bore flowers in the rainy season. I found these small flowers very attractive. Hope you like them too.
Eichhornia crassipes, commonly known as (common) water hyacinth, is an aquatic plant native to the Amazon basin, and is often considered a highly problematic invasive species outside its native range.

What a lovely colorful specie of flower....I like it much. The yellow mark in contrast to the blue one on petal is superb.

Hello Ram,
I have never seen such a beautiful water plants as these. The blue, yellow and light lavender markings are gorgeous, reminds me of a peacock feather. Composition is great as main subjects are placed slightly off center and exposure is perfect. Tac sharp focus with plenty of DOF.
Ron
Hello Ram
Thank you for capturing and sharing this pretty pond Hyacinth. The colours of the petals have an very unique design. Nicely composed since you included the surrounding greenery.
