[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Extremely hot weather here in north India. I saw this garden Lizard on the trunk of a tree at 12 noon today. It was very sleepy in the intense heat.

The oriental garden lizard, eastern garden lizard or changeable lizard (Calotes versicolor) is an agamid lizard found widely distributed in Asia. It has also been introduced in many other parts of the world.

Hi Ram,a very sharp capture despite the terrible backlight, the vertical cut is a winner, excellent way to show us this lizard sleeping in this hot day.Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

hallo Ram
very nice picture ,good sharpness and nice details
i like it
thanks gr lou

Dear Ram,
well observed in the extreme heat of dry early summer in India, and skilfully portrayed in an emotionally touching way, that sleepy garden lizard does not fail to have my sympathies ;)
Here in Central Europe, we and our fellow beings for the moment are just as sleepy - but because of unusually cool und humid weather ...
Thank you! With best regards,
