[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was the first shot with my new Tamron 150-600. The picture of this Indian Silverbill was shot early in the morning while a group of Silverbills were foraging the ground for food.

While looking at the pic today, I think I should have got down to the ground level for the correct POV.

Indian Silverbill:

These are widespread residents except for the NW, NE of the subcontinent and the Himalayas. The males have fawn brown upperparts, whitish face & underparts with long pointed tail.

Habitat: Dry cultivation, grasslands & thorny scrub.

Hello Satirtha,
Beautiful picture of this Indian Silver bill. Good details and colour. But POV could have been better jodi matite suye pore chobi-ta tulte. I mean eye level POV. In such way you could achieved a perfect OOF BG.
Thanks for sharing,

A difficult location but a very good capture,it seems a camouflage but just because the background has the same bird colors, great sharpness,i like it! Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Hello Satirtha,
Your Tamron 150-600MM seem to have done a good job on this shot. The focus appears sharp and you captured nice eye contact. Getting lower could definitely have made a difference, but this POV is really not bad the way it is. Next time you get a chance for a shot like this, take a few photos from different angles and see what the results are like.

Not bad for an early experiment with your big lens, Satirtha.
The bird is quite cute and the focus on it quite sharp.
The bird also blends well with the brown BG.
