|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is another picture from my archive. I clicked this picture of the Streak Breasted Woodpecker during a family vacation in Kausani, a famous hill station in Uttarakhand, India. The place where we stayed in was a small resort surrounded by orchards all around. The entire day we used to see different feathered species from Woodpecker to Yuhina come to the fruiting trees to eat the 'Kinoos', a citrus fruit similar to an Orange.|
I saw this woodpecker peeking out through the Kinoo tree while returning from the dinning area. The afternoon light was bit harsh and was not ideal. However, could not resist taking the shot. Applied a bit of sharpening and contrast.
Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful Woodpecker although can't see clearly its full body. Not your fault but it's nature where you can't predict anything. Light was harsh but you captured quite well, mainly perfect focus on its eye.
But unfortunately its feet touched the frame. Here vertical frame could have been better to get full bird in frame as well as closer view.
Thanks for sharing,

A very difficult location between the leafes and a not easy light levels too,the result is a bit overexposed but the sharpness is perfect,i like it! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

This Particular woodpecker didn't give you much of a look due to the thick shrubbery, but you still managed to capture its face quite well. A bit overexposed in a few areas due to the uneven lighting yet the focus is sharp.

Una bella escena muy natural, bien captado el pájaro entre las hojas verdes. Has controlado la luz dura perfectamente. Ese ojo está perfecto.
