[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo of the Indian Roller was shot during afternoon during one of my previous trips to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. One unique observation about the Rollers is that they never seem to like shady foliage while resting. I have mainly seen Rollers perching on electricity Poles or on branches of barren trees which are devoid of any leaves.

Hi Satirtha, magnificent colorful bird as usual in the roller family, the sharpness is very good,i like the imposing perspective and the dead tree in background. Have a nice evening and thanks,LUCIANO

Ciao Satirtha, great capture of lovely bird in nice pose, fantastic colors, splendid sharpness and fine details, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

What a beautiful capture of the Indian Roller, Satirtha!
I like that huge dried-up stump of a tree in the background. Adds special appeal to the composition.
The catch-light in the eye of the bird is a bonus.

Hello Satirtha,
Beautiful Roller and well captured. This BG dry tree helped you to get perfect focus and perfect light here. Quite well details too.
Thanks for showing,
Best wishes,

Hello Satirtha,
You have done a great job of photographing this gorgeous Indian Roller in a relaxed pose. Super sharp focus while displaying excellent detail. Wonderful eye contact with a bit of catchlight showing. Even under full sun light you managed to control the exposure, bringing out the lovely colors in its plumage. The dead snag made a great BG for this shot. Well done!!
