Lynx Spider
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Lynx Spiders are lonely hunters. They do not build webs to catch the prey; instead, they ambush it on a flower or elsewhere.
I shot this one last month on the concrete water tank on my house roof. It was on the side first, but then seeing me trying to shoot it, it clambered up to the top and offered me this opportunity to capture it against the sky.

Hello Sir,
The spider looks quite menacing & deadly I must say. The legs reminds me of thorny cactus. It would have required quiet an effort to capture this spider. If I am not mistaken there's also a hint of catch light on the right eye of the spider.
TFS,
Warm Regards,
Satirtha
