|Research on net suggests it's a Southern Skimmer. However, since it's a European species, I'm not sure if it is seen in India too. Experts kindly help.|
Orthetrum brunneum, the southern skimmer, is a species of 'skimmers' belonging to the family Libellulidae. This 'skimmer' is present in most of Europe.

I would be thrilled to capture such a fine image of this beautiful dragonfly. The clarity and detail is simply stunning to say the least. It gave you a great pose allowing us to view and enjoy the entire insect in this awesome photo. Well done!!
